This Easy 3-Ingredient Candy Corn Bark is a happy accident turned into a recipe you’ll actually want to make on purpose. It looks impressive, tastes incredible, and takes almost no effort.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 ounces white chocolate melting wafers (e.g., Ghirardelli or Merckens)
  • 1 ½ cups candy corn (classic Brach’s or store brand)
  • Pinch of flaky sea salt (e.g., Maldon)

Instructions

  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper, extending slightly over the edges for easy removal. Set aside.
  2. Place white chocolate melting wafers in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring well after each, until completely smooth and glossy (about 1 ½ to 2 minutes total).
  3. Reserve about ½ cup of candy corn for the top. Stir the remaining 1 cup of candy corn into the melted white chocolate.
  4. Pour the chocolate and candy corn mixture onto the prepared baking sheet. Spread into an even layer, about ¼-inch thick.
  5. While the chocolate is still wet, press the reserved ½ cup of candy corn into the top, spacing them out evenly.
  6. Sprinkle a pinch of flaky sea salt over the entire surface.
  7. Place the baking sheet in the refrigerator and let set for at least 30 minutes, until firm and no longer sticky. (Alternatively, freeze for 15 minutes.)
  8. Once set, lift the parchment paper to remove the bark from the pan. Break into irregular pieces with your hands or cut into squares with a sharp knife.

Notes

White chocolate can burn easily; microwave in short intervals. Work quickly once chocolate is melted. Flaky sea salt is highly recommended to balance sweetness. For dairy-free, use dairy-free white chocolate. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 1 week.
