A spooky, non-alcoholic Halloween punch made with cranberry and pomegranate juice, ginger ale, and creepy garnishes like lychee eyeballs and gummy worm ice cubes. Perfect for parties and family gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 cups (960 ml) cranberry juice
  • 2 cups (480 ml) pomegranate juice
  • 4 cups (960 ml) ginger ale
  • 2 tablespoons (30 ml) fresh lemon juice
  • 1 can lychee fruit, drained
  • 12–15 blueberries
  • 1 cup (about 20) gummy worms
  • 2 trays ice cubes
  • Optional: plastic spider rings, candy eyeballs, dry ice, sliced limes

Instructions

  1. Make the gummy worm ice cubes at least 4 hours before serving: Place one gummy worm in each compartment of a standard ice cube tray, fill with water, and freeze for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  2. Assemble the lychee eyeballs 15 minutes before serving: Drain canned lychees and pat dry. Gently press one blueberry into the center of each lychee to create the pupil. Set aside.
  3. Combine the juices 5 minutes before serving: In a large punch bowl or pitcher, mix 4 cups cranberry juice, 2 cups pomegranate juice, and 2 tablespoons lemon juice. Stir gently.
  4. Add the bubbles: Slowly pour in 4 cups ginger ale and stir gently to preserve carbonation.
  5. Add the ice: Drop in regular ice cubes first, then add the gummy worm ice cubes.
  6. Add the eyeballs: Gently drop the lychee eyeballs into the punch; they will float to the top.
  7. Garnish and serve: If using dry ice, add with tongs. Ladle punch into cups, ensuring each serving gets at least one eyeball and one gummy worm.

Notes

Don’t add ginger ale too early or it will go flat. If using dry ice, ensure it’s completely dissolved before serving. The juice mixture can be made up to 3 days ahead; lychee eyeballs can be assembled 24 hours ahead. For a less tart version, add 1/2 cup apple juice or use lemon-lime soda instead of ginger ale.
