A fuss-free, no-bake Oreo icebox cake that layers creamy whipped cream and cookies for a soft, dreamy dessert perfect for kids and last-minute celebrations.

Ingredients

Scale
  • About 36 regular-sized Oreo cookies (classic or double stuff)
  • 2 cups (480 ml) heavy whipping cream, chilled
  • 4 ounces (115 g) cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup (60 g) powdered sugar, sifted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Optional: A pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Chill your mixing bowl and beaters in the freezer for 10-15 minutes.
  2. In the chilled bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with powdered sugar until smooth and creamy (2-3 minutes).
  3. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. In a separate bowl, whip the cold heavy cream until soft peaks form.
  5. Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture using a spatula, being careful not to deflate it.
  6. Spread a thin layer of the cream mixture on the bottom of a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  7. Place a single layer of Oreo cookies on top of the cream layer.
  8. Repeat layering cream and cookies until all ingredients are used, finishing with a cream layer on top (about 4-5 layers).
  9. Cover the dish tightly with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 6 hours, preferably overnight.
  10. Cut into squares and serve chilled.

Notes

Chill the mixing bowl and beaters before whipping cream for better results. Fold whipped cream gently to keep it airy. Let the cake chill overnight for best texture. Use gluten-free cookies for a gluten-free version and dairy-free alternatives for lactose intolerance. Avoid freezing to maintain texture.
