A quick, wholesome, and kid-friendly snack featuring crisp celery sticks filled with creamy peanut butter and topped with raisins that look like ants. Perfect for a nutritious boost anytime.

Ingredients

  • Celery stalks, crisp and fresh
  • Natural peanut butter, creamy or chunky, lightly salted
  • Raisins (sun-dried or jumbo preferred)
  • Optional: chia seeds or flaxseeds for topping

Instructions

  1. Wash and trim the celery stalks under cold water to remove any dirt. Cut each stalk into 3 to 4-inch pieces.
  2. Spread a generous layer of peanut butter along the groove of each celery piece using a butter knife.
  3. Place 6 to 8 raisins evenly spaced on top of the peanut butter line on each celery piece.
  4. Optional: Sprinkle chia or flaxseeds over the peanut butter before adding raisins for extra nutrition.
  5. Serve immediately for best freshness and crunch. If storing, cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate, but consume within 24 hours.

Notes

If peanut butter is too firm, microwave for 10 seconds to soften for easier spreading. Avoid overfilling celery grooves to prevent mess. Prepare just before serving to keep celery crisp. Raisins can be substituted with dried cranberries, mini chocolate chips, or chopped dried apricots.
