A refreshing and easy-to-make summer punch combining fresh strawberries, tangy lemon juice, and sparkling water for a lively, bubbly drink perfect for gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and roughly chopped
  • 4 to 5 fresh lemons, juiced (about 1/2 cup lemon juice)
  • 4 cups sparkling water, chilled
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup cold water
  • Ice cubes, for serving
  • Fresh mint leaves (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Place the hulled and chopped strawberries into a blender and pulse until smooth but still slightly textured (about 1 to 2 minutes). For a seed-free punch, strain the puree through a fine mesh strainer.
  2. Juice 4 to 5 fresh lemons to yield about 1/2 cup (120 ml) lemon juice, removing any seeds.
  3. In a small bowl, combine 1/2 cup granulated sugar with 1 cup cold water. Stir until the sugar is fully dissolved (2 to 3 minutes).
  4. In a large pitcher, mix the strawberry puree, lemon juice, and simple syrup. Stir gently and adjust sweetness if needed.
  5. Just before serving, pour in 4 cups chilled sparkling water and stir gently to combine without losing bubbles.
  6. Serve the punch over plenty of ice cubes and garnish with fresh mint leaves if desired.

Notes

Add sparkling water just before serving to keep the fizz lively. Straining the strawberry puree is optional depending on your texture preference. Use fresh lemons and ripe strawberries for best flavor. The punch base can be made up to 2 days ahead and refrigerated; add sparkling water and ice just before serving.
