A stunning and easy charcuterie board featuring creamy Brie, sweet fig jam, salty prosciutto, and crunchy candied pecans. Perfect for Thanksgiving appetizers or holiday grazing, this board comes together in 20 minutes and looks way harder than it is.

Ingredients

  • Brie cheese (8 ounces, one wheel)
  • Aged cheddar (4 ounces)
  • Goat cheese log (4 ounces, optional)
  • Prosciutto (4 ounces, thinly sliced)
  • Salami (4 ounces, Genoa or soppressata)
  • Turkey pepperoni (2 ounces, optional)
  • Fresh figs (6-8, halved)
  • Fig jam (½ cup)
  • Honey (2 tablespoons)
  • Red grapes (1 cup, seedless)
  • Dried apricots (½ cup)
  • Candied pecans (½ cup)
  • Almonds (½ cup, roasted and salted)
  • Crackers (about 20-30, mix of water crackers, rosemary crackers, buttery shortbread rounds)
  • Baguette (½ loaf, sliced and toasted)
  • Fresh rosemary sprigs (a few)
  • Fresh thyme (a few sprigs)
  • Flaky sea salt (a pinch)
  • Olives (½ cup, mixed, optional)

Instructions

  1. Take the Brie out of the fridge 30-60 minutes before serving to come to room temperature.
  2. Prep fruits and garnishes: wash grapes and pat dry, halve fresh figs lengthwise, pick rosemary and thyme leaves off stems. Set aside.
  3. Toast baguette slices: preheat oven to 375°F. Slice baguette into ¼-inch rounds, brush lightly with olive oil, arrange on baking sheet. Bake 5-7 minutes until golden at edges. Let cool completely.
  4. Arrange cheeses first: place Brie wheel in center-left of board, cheddar wedge at top right, goat cheese log at bottom right, creating a visual triangle.
  5. Add small bowls: place ramekins for fig jam, honey, olives, and candied pecans around the board.
  6. Layer in meats: tear prosciutto into ribbons and drape near Brie. Fold salami slices into quarters and stack. Arrange turkey pepperoni in separate cluster.
  7. Fill in with fruits: scatter halved figs around Brie, place small grape clusters in gaps, add dried apricots near cheddar.
  8. Add crunch: tuck toasted baguette slices and crackers into empty spaces. Scatter almonds in little piles.
  9. Finish with garnishes: drizzle honey over Brie wheel, sprinkle flaky sea salt on top, scatter fresh rosemary and thyme sprigs across board.
  10. Serve immediately or cover loosely with plastic wrap and refrigerate. If refrigerating, take board out 20 minutes before serving.

Notes

Room temperature cheese is essential for best flavor. Don’t pre-slice cheese as it dries out. Balance flavors and textures: creamy, sharp, salty, sweet, crunchy. Can be prepped night before (add crackers and garnishes just before serving). Leftovers keep 3-4 days.
